What is WaxMint?
WaxMint is a platform for creators to create limited collectible music editions on Solana and sell them directly to fans.
What does a collector receive?
A collector receives a digital music collectible associated with the release, including the edition artwork and access to the release experience defined by the artist.
Do collectors own copyright?
No. Collectors own the digital collectible edition. Copyright and underlying music rights remain with the rights holder unless explicitly stated otherwise.
How much does WaxMint cost?
Standard releases use a $2.99 publishing fee. Approved creators may receive fee-free publishing access.
Does WaxMint take a percentage?
WaxMint may apply a small platform transaction fee when a collectible is purchased. The exact fee will be shown before publication and collection.
Which payments are supported?
SOL is available for Devnet collecting. USDC and USDT are planned but not yet available for checkout.
Which blockchain does WaxMint use?
WaxMint is built on Solana.
Can I sell from my own website?
Yes. WaxMint provides an embeddable release widget so artists can offer collectibles directly from their existing website.
How do I add a release to my website?
After publishing, copy the WaxMint embed code for the release and add it to your website.
How do I set up a Solana wallet?
WaxMint supports Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. New users can follow the wallet setup guide before connecting.
